Kick-Off Week Recap
WE DID IT!! Kick-Off Week was an incredible time to see all that God has done in our communities! Your hard work paid off in magnificent ways. While we know camp is about so much more than just numbers, we recognize that numbers help tell a story about the lives that God will change.
Some fun statistics to enjoy together:
2 Communities completely sold out within a day
2,000 campers were registered in the first 2 hours
$350,000 given in scholarships to campers
600 volunteers registered
+50% of our entire camp registration goals

Truck Transportation Update
This summer WinShape Camps for Communities in in for a big change! We are moving to transporting our inventory in semi trucks this summer . This change is being implemented for a number of reasons.
First, our heart is to keep our summer staff safe and secure as they provide you with an excellent day camp experience. As you may have experienced, the current system put young college students behind the wheel of huge box trucks, which was stressful and often difficult to manage responsibly. Now, professional drivers will transport our inventory of equipment from location to location!
Secondly, this move allows WinShape to free up resources and effort that was previously bogged down in the tedious protocols of renting trucks, training staffers to drive them, caring for bumps, mishaps, etc. Now we can focus on caring for you and your communities by implementing a more effective, streamlined, and safe process.
Practically, this will look like a semi-truck arriving to your campus prior to camp starting and finding the most effective location for them to park. This leaves our staff to only transport themselves in the caravan of 15 passenger vans and a small box truck (like a large suburban). Overall, our heart is to create sustainable processes that keep in mind what's best for you as hosts, our summer staffers, and camp as a whole.
We realize there are bound to be some questions about how this will work over the summer and our team is diligently working to iron out all the details. Join our Town Hall on March 27th at 2:00pm EST to hear our Operations Team discuss this in depth, and a further email in April will outline the plan in greater detail.
Road to Summer Discussions - Marketing!!
Welcome to our third Road To Summer Discussion! As registration has kicked off we want to help you spread the word about camp in your community. So, who better to join us than Cody Braun, manager for WinShape Camps Marketing Team, to bring us some tips and tricks!
We are expecting a 10 minute time of marketing tips and 10 minutes of Q+A with Cody following our normal Town Hall agenda items. We would love for you all to join us with any questions you may have!
